UCF's 31-24 win over SMU was watched by 369,000 viewers on Saturday night, making it the second-most watched UCF game of the season to date behind only the Memphis-UCF game on September 30th, which had 442,000 viewers, also on ESPN2.

Here are the most-viewed UCF games of 2017 so far:

UCF at Maryland on FS1 (9/23/17): 247,000 viewers

Memphis at UCF on ESPN2 (9/30/17): 442,000 viewers

UCF at Cincinnati on ESPNU (10/7/17): 131,000 viewers

UCF at SMU on ESPN2 (11/4/17): 369,000 viewers

Overall TV numbers are up for UCF games compared to last season, but surprisingly, despite the huge success on the field, TV numbers locally and nationally for UCF are down from 2013, when the Knights had their magical run to Fiesta Bowl.

For example, the UCF-SMU game on Saturday was in same time slot as in 2013, when UCF took on Houston. The UCF-Houston game garnered 431,000 viewers that year in same time slot. Locally, numbers are down from 2013 and haven't come close to the big number it had for last season's game at Michigan.

Part of it is cord cutting, with more people watching games online instead of on cable TV. Still surprising, more people have not tuned in.
