On the final Summer Session of 2017, Eric Lopez chats with former UCF Softball star and current Swedish National Softball Team member Linnea Goodman.

Here's the podcast:

Linnea Goodman just finished her outstanding career at UCF in 2017. She's among the program's all-time leaders in multiple offensive categories, including batting average and hits. The Long Beach, California native tied a program record with five hits in one game against Memphis in her senior year.

This interview airs in full on the In The Circle Podcast on Fastpitch News, hosted by our own Eric Lopez and friend of the pod Victor Anderson. Make sure you subscribe to In The Circle here.

Then Jeff and Eric lament the impending loss of Spectrum Sports Network (26:30). Jeff interned at Central Florida News 13 when he was a student at UCF, and its sports coverage was the predecessor to Spectrum (formerly Bright House Sports Network). Eric also did plenty of work for Spectrum Sports earlier in his career. Read more about it in this article from Hal Boedeker of the Orlando Sentinel.
