Maroth is now the pitching coach for the Florida Fire Frogs of the Florida State League, the Class A Advanced affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. He was drafted by the Boston Red Sox out of UCF in 1998, and reached the majors in 2002 with the Detroit Tigers. He last threw in an MLB game in 2007 with the St. Louis Cardinals. Since then, he has coached in the Tigers’ minor league organization before joining the Braves in the same capacity.
