#16 UCF Women's Soccer was supposed to open their regular season - and the 2018-2019 UCF athletic year - Sunday night at 6 p.m. against FGCU at the UCF Track and Soccer Complex. But...
Due to inclement weather, tonight’s game has been called off.

We’ll be back in action on Aug. 24, facing No. 17 Texas in Chapel Hill, NC. pic.twitter.com/kuDgygbsg9
That's a bit of an understatement. Some horrendous storms have been rolling through the East Orlando area all evening.
Uh, not to be a Debbie Downer here, @UCF_WSoccer, but... pic.twitter.com/k4AKQBQUDq

No make-up date has been announced, although FGCU hinted at that still being a possibility:
UPDATE: @FGCU_WSoccer will NOT play UCF tonight due to inclement weather.

When we learn of a potential makeup date, we will spread the news #ASUNWSOC https://t.co/f31irpIbRg
If they can't make it up, this actually stinks for UCF because FGCU are actually good. They're the defending Atlantic Sun champions, finished with an RPI of 38 last year, and were picked to win that league again by its coaches in the preseason. So not playing this game may actually end up hurting UCF's RPI.
UCF Women's Soccer's season opener will be Friday, August 24th, in Chapel Hill, North Carolina against #17 Texas.
UCF Women's Soccer's home opener won't be until Sunday, September 9th, at 6 p.m. against #7 Florida. That will be their fifth game of the year.
The first regular season UCF sporting event will be played by UCF Volleyball, on Friday, August 24th, at 4:30 p.m., coincidentally against Florida Gulf Coast in the Sunshine State Challenge tournament at the University of Miami in Coral Gables.
The first home UCF sporting event - for the moment, at least - will be Men's Soccer's home opener against UC-Irvine on Monday, August 27th.
Adjust your schedules accordingly.
