UCF moved up three spots in the Amway Coaches' Poll to #20 and two spots in the AP Top 25 heading into Week 2.

In the Coaches' Poll, UCF made its biggest jump, thanks to the Knights' destruction of UConn in the opener on Thursday night:

Thanks to Miami getting thumped by LSU, the Knights are now the highest-ranked team from the state of Florida.

UCF did get leapfrogged by the team that beat Miami, LSU, and remains one spot behind Boise State, the highest-ranked non-AQ team.

In the AP Poll, UCF jumped two spots:

The Knights remain ahead of Boise State despite inexplicably not being ranked on three media members' ballots. One media member put UCF at #6 in the country, while eight more put them in the top 15.

UCF opens the home schedule against South Carolina State Saturday.
