UCF was the center of the college football world on Saturday, November 17th, by hosting ESPN’s College GameDay leading up to a primetime showdown vs. #24 Cincinnati, which would be on ABC’s Primetime Saturday Game of the Week. It would be the biggest regular season showcase day in program history when you consider how many eyes were on UCF’s campus starting in the morning with GameDay.
While GameDay was the focus of many, there was huge game in primetime as the #11 UCF Knights hosted the #24 Bearcats with The American’s Eastern Division title at stake.
It was the most complete performance by UCF all season on both sides of the ball as the Knights dominated Cincinnati 38-13 to clinch the Eastern Division title and extend their winning streak to 23 games.
