Head coach Linda Gooch’s squad bested Alabama by just half a point to secure their third national title and first since 2007. Kentucky, UCF’s annual bugaboo at UCA Nationals, finished third in the event, held at Disney’s Wide World of Sports.

UCF also won the Gameday competition last year, a new competition only recently introduced.
