Today is the big day. The UCF Knights are joining the Big 12 Conference.

4 p.m. ET: UCF holds a press conference officially announcing the move:
Present are VP/AD Terry Mohajir, President Alexander Cartwright, Big 12 Commissioner Bob Bowlsby and Big 12 Board Chairman/Texas Tech President Lawrence Schovanec:
3 p.m. ET: The UCF Board of Trustees is meeting this hour to formally vote on accepting the invitation to the Big 12.
Noon E.T.: Our friends at Fear The Wave released a copy of UCF’s application letter to the Big 12.
