UCF’s Win over Cincinnati Draws Over One Million TV Viewers

UCF’s dramatic win is the second game in 2022 to deal one million viewers

The UCF Knights’ dramatic win over Cincinnati on Saturday was watched by 1,059,000 viewers, according to ShowBuzzDaily.com, making it the second most-watched Knights game of the 2022 season, trailing only the September 9th game against Louisville (1,850,000).

It is the fifth consecutive Cincinnati-UCF game to draw over a million viewers, although surprisingly it is the least-viewed game of the five games by a significant margin, despite the dramatic finish.

There was very tough competition in that 3:30 time slot. Florida-Georgia, with 5.6 million on CBS, winning that slot likely took away some Orlando casual college football fans that otherwise may have tuned in to the UCF game otherwise. Oklahoma State-Kansas State on FOX also drew 3.38 million.

Cincinnati is now the UCF opponent that has drawn over a million viewers the most times (5), passing Memphis and South Florida (4).
