UCF has three games left in Stillwater with 2 games against No. 2 Oklahoma State and one more against the Sun Devils. Jewell’s performance continues a positive trend for the junior herself and the Knights’ pitching overall, as we saw in the team’s recent seven-game home stand.
UCF Goes 7-0 In Home stand
It was Home Sweet Home for UCF Softball as the Knights went 7-0 in 7 game home stand with wins over Toledo, Kennesaw State, North Dakota, and double header sweep over Rutgers on Tuesday. The Knights went back to the basics with quality pitching and scoring runs in various ways and not depend on the long ball.
Here is what we learn from 7 game win streak as we go around the bases.
1st- UCF Get Consistent Pitching
During the 7 game win streak, The Knights gave up just 8 runs with 3 shutouts. Two of them are from Jewell who threw 2 shutouts with win over Toledo on Friday and was 2 outs away from a No-Hitter against Rutgers.

For the season. Evans has 9 doubles which ranks 12th in NCAA.
3B- Chloe Evans Is The Complete Package
Another strong week for Evans who was a double shy of hitting for the cycle in Saturday’s win over Toledo. Evans leads team in hitting (.344), Runs Batted In (25), Slugging Pct, (.644) and triples with her 4th triple coming on Tuesday night against Rutgers.

Williams went 9/21 scoring 9 runs with 2 homers and fives runs batted in. Perhaps Williams may be spark they need at the top of order to set the tone for the offense.
