NFL Alum-knights Week 15: Breshad Perriman Scores Three Touchdowns in Win Over Lions

BRESHAD!!!

NFL: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Detroit Lions Raj Mehta-USA TODAY Sports

Last week, Tre’Quan Smith and Breshad Perriman both found the end zone late in the fourth quarter to take the lead. Perriman’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers held on for the win, while Smith’s New Orleans Saints lost in heartbreaking fashion on a last-second field goal.

Let’s see what this week had in store for Team Alum-knights:

AFC

  • TE Jordan Akins (HOU): 2 rec, 7 yds
  • CB A.J. Bouye (JAX): 2 tackles

NFC

  • CB Mike Hughes (MIN): 4 tackles, 2 passes defensed, INT

Hughes recorded his first interception since his NFL debut in the Vikings’ 39-10 win over the Chargers. Hughes’s pick was one of seven takeaways for the Minnesota defense.

  • S Kemal Ishmael (ATL): 1 TFL, 1 forced fumble
  • LB Shaquem Griffin (SEA): 26 defensive snaps
  • CB Shaquill Griffin (SEA): Inactive (hamstring)

Shaquill missed his first game since Week 12 of the 2017 season with a hamstring injury. It is uncertain if he will play against the Cardinals in Week 16.

  • Breshad Perriman (TB): 5 rec, 113 yds, 3 TD

It looks like Jameis Winston and Breshad Perriman have found some chemistry that might elongate their NFL careers.

Perriman’s career day led the Buccaneers to a 38-17 win against the Lions to improve their record to 7-7.

With Mike Evans out for the season and Chris Godwin injured in yesterday’s contest, Perriman could advance to WR1 on the depth chart for Week 16.

Tonight, Latavius Murray, Tre’Quan Smith and the Saints host Clayton Geathers and the Colts in a Monday Night Football contest that could shape the NFC Playoff Picture for the rest of the way. Kickoff is at 8:15 PM EST.
