Week 6 NFL Alum-knight Report: Breshad Perriman returns; Mike Hughes re-injures neck

Not a successful week for NFL Alum-knights.

NFL: New York Jets at Buffalo Bills Rich Barnes-USA TODAY Sports

Here’s a recap of how UCF Alum-knights performed in the NFL this week:

  • Vikings CB Mike Hughes played just 13 snaps before re-aggravating a neck injury he sustained earlier this season. Not a good look for the third-year player who has constantly been bit by the injury bug.
  • Lions K Matt Prater was busy coming off of his bye week. Prater knocked down four extra points and connected on two of his three field goal attempts. His missed field goal came from 57 yards out.
  • Jets WR Breshad Perriman made his return after missing three games with an ankle injury. Perriman finished the game with a team-high 62 yards on four receptions in a loss to the Dolphins, including this catch on third down:
  • Bills WR Gabriel Davis caught one pass for seven yards in a loss to the Chiefs Monday evening.

INJURIES

  • Broncos CB A.J. Bouye (shoulder) remains on injured reserve.
  • Texans TE Jordan Akins (ankle sprain) did not play vs. the Titans.
