Week 13 turned out to be a lucky one for some former UCF Knights. Let’s go over what has been an eventful week for UCF’s NFL guys:
DT Kalia Davis — San Francisco 49ers
S Richie Grant — Atlanta Falcons
Grant had a tremendous game for the Falcons, recording two tackles, a sack, and a forced fumble in the Falcons’ 13-8 win over the New York Jets.
DB Divaad Wilson — Arizona Cardinals
Wilson, making his first-ever NFL start one week after making his NFL debut, made four tackles, three of which were solo tackles, in the Cardinals’ win.
K Matt Prater — Arizona Cardinals
Prater made his lone field goal attempt, a 51-yarder, and was three-for-three on extra point attempts in the Cardinals’ 24-10 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Prater is now 20/23 on the season and 7/9 from 50 or longer. His NFL record of career field goals from 50 yards or longer is now at 78
LS Alex Ward — Los Angeles Rams
Ward served as a long snapper for three field goal attempts, four extra point attempts, and five punts in the Rams’ 36-18 win over the Cleveland Browns.
LS Charley Hughlett — Cleveland Browns
Hughlett served as a long snapper for two field goal attempts, two extra point attempts, and five punts in the Browns’ loss.
TE Jordan Akins — Cleveland Browns
Akins recorded one catch for six yards on the Browns’ loss.
LB Shaquill Griffin — Carolina Panthers
Griffin dressed in the Panthers’ 21-18 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but didn’t record any stats.
DB Mike Hughes — Atlanta Falcons
Hughes dressed in the Falcons’ win but didn’t record any stats.
