Knights in the Pros: XFL Week Eight Recap

Terrance Plummer and Rannell Hall face off in Orlando

This week saw the two remaining UCF Knights alumni playing in the XFL — Terrance Plummer and Rannell Hall — face off against each other in Orlando. with the regular season only having a few weeks left, let's not only take a look at how they did this week, but see how they’ve done overall this season.

Terrence Plummer LB Orlando Guardians

Plummer recorded six tackles, three solo and three assisted, in the Guardians’ 18-16 loss to the Arlington Renegades. With the loss, the 1-7 Guardians were officially eliminated from XFL playoff contention.

So far this season Plummer, the Guardians’ captain, has recorded a total of 41 tackles (22 solo and 19 assisted) which is the most on the team and 9th-most in the entire league. He has also recorded two sacks and four tackles for a loss.

Rannell Hall CB Arlington Renegades

Hall recorded one reception for 16 yards against Orlando. He also returned two kickoffs for a total of 46 yards, with a long of 29 yards.

Hall, who was on injured reserve for the first few weeks of the season, has played in four games and started in three. He has five receptions for 44 yards, 21 rushing yards off of one rushing attempt, six kickoff returns for a total of 107 yards (the fourth most on the team), and one punt return for 17 yards.
