The UCF Knights are still marching in Clearwater.

Dallas Beaver’s RBI single in the bottom of the tenth gave UCF an 8-7 victory over the Memphis Tigers in their elimination game at the 2019 American Baseball Championship.

Beaver’s dramatic game-winner - his lone hit of the night - capped off another UCF comeback, as the Knights trailed 7-4 after 4 12 innings thanks to three Memphis home runs off starter Grant Schuermann. But the Knights rallied with one run each in the 5th, 6th, 8th and 10th to stay alive.

The bullpen combination of Garrett Westberg and Kyle Kemp combined to hold Memphis without a run over the final five innings, as they allowed just five baserunners on two hits and three walks.

Here are the full highlights:

After the win, head coach Greg Lovelady could barely contain his emotions:

Beaver was pretty hilarious by contrast:

UCF is now 35-21 on the year, and plays the loser of 2-seed Cincinnati and 3-seed Tulane, who face each other Thursday at about 7 p.m. ET. The Knights have a day off before their next game, slated for Friday at 7 p.m.
