The UCF Knights jumped two spots in the latest College Football Playoff rankings, ahead of both Ohio State and Florida, and behind only five other teams with at least one loss:

It’s the highest ranking ever for UCF, six spots ahead of last year at this same time, and is also the highest ranking for a non-power conference team in the CFP’s relatively short history.
An impressive showing on national television in prime time on Saturday against Cincinnati no doubt had at least some effect on the voters.
