Tucker and new USU head coach Blake Anderson worked at Arkansas State: Anderson was the HC, and Tucker coached the WRs (2013) and RBs (2014-15). https://t.co/61ABxJc9bK
Tucker was hired by Josh Heupel in December 2017 as the Knights’ running backs coach after serving two seasons as the running backs coach at Maryland. Prior to his time with the Terrapins, Tucker worked under Anderson at Arkansas State for three seasons. At UCF, Tucker added the title of passing game coordinator in the summer of 2019 and was promoted to co-offensive coordinator in January 2020.
Tucker shared the offensive coordinator title this year with tight ends coach Alex Golesh, who came to UCF in January from Iowa State. It is uncertain at this time if Tucker will coach in the Boca Raton Bowl on Dec. 22.
