One can make the argument that Richie Grant is the best safety in this draft class. He had the looks of an NFL player as early as 2018, when he racked up 108 tackles and six interceptions for the Knights. This year, he was on pace to get close to those numbers with 72 tackles and three interceptions in just nine games.
The Falcons are getting much-needed help in their secondary and Grant should see a sizeable number of snaps right away. He prides his game on his physicality and will contribute to that identity for the Falcons playing alongside A.J. Terrell, Isaiah Oliver and Duron Harmon.
If you need any more convincing that the Falcons made a great pick, check out these highlights:
Congrats Richie Grant on getting drafted!
