The second UCF Knight is off the board!
Cornerback Aaron Robinson is en route to the Big Apple after being drafted by the New York Giants with the 71st pick in the NFL Draft.
Robinson is the second UCF player off the board after Richie Grant was selected by the Atlanta Falcons with the 40th overall pick.
The Giants traded up five spots to go and get the Alum-knight.
Aaron Robinson could be one of the most underrated cornerbacks in this draft class. In a weaker cornerback draft class, he could have been drafted as high as the first round or early second.
The former Alabama CB transferred to UCF following his freshman year and made the most of his spike in playing time in Orlando. Robinson racked up 15 passes defensed in his final two years with the Knights and is not the guy you want to throw towards.
He also ran a 4.38 at UCF’s Pro Day on April 1 and will be able to keep up with the speediest of receivers at the next level.
Welcome to the NFL, Aaron Robinson!
