After a day and a half of anticipation, the 9-seed UCF Knights get their shot at the top-overall-seed Duke Blue Devils in the second round of the NCAA Tournament East Regional in Columbia, South Carolina.
It’s Johnny Dawkins against his college head coach and mentor, Mike Krzyzewski. It’s Tacko Fall against possible #1 overall NBA Draft pick Zion Williamson. It’s Duke freshman phenom and Montverde Academy grad RJ Barrett against UCF senior leader and Boone High School grad B.J. Taylor. It’s UCF A.D. Danny White against his father and Duke A.D. Kevin White.
It should be the most-watched UCF Basketball game in history.
Brian Murphy is in Columbia, while the rest of us will be intently following along on CBS.
