Who could have seen this coming?
The UCF Knights hadn’t played in two weeks. The last time we saw them on the floor, they were getting crushed by the Michigan Wolverines. Now, after that long layoff, their next test was to go on the road and challenge the undefeated and 15th-ranked Florida State Seminoles. Oh no?
Oh yes! The Knights beat the Seminoles — and frankly dominated them in the second half — ending a bunch of long streaks on Saturday night:
Per #UCF Athletics:

-- UCF snapped Florida State's 27-game home winning streak
-- UCF snapped Florida State's 41-game non-conference home winning streak
-- UCF snapped Florida State's 31-game winning streak in the state of Florida
In our postgame Knight Shift, Eric Lopez and Brian Murphy covered all the angles of this uber-impressive 86-74 victory, including true freshman Isaiah Adams’ star turn, Brandon Mahan’s incredible second half, what this win means for the future of the program and so much more.
