What to Know About Houston
They’re really good. The Cougs were picked as the preseason favorite in the American, and their only losses this season were to Wisconsin by two in the Maui Invitational and by one point at then-#9 Alabama.
Marcus Sasser is out for the season. The only Cougar to be named preseason all-AAC broke his foot and had to have surgery on it.
Kyler Edwards has stepped it up. Edwards leads the Cougars in scoring in conference play at 19.4 points per game.
