What to Know About Houston
They’ve lost two in a row. Yup, they’re human. They lost at SMU by two last week and then by ten to Memphis at home last Saturday. They haven’t lost consecutive games since March of 2017 — nearly five years ago — and haven’t lost three straight since January of that same year.
Houston won the previous matchup in Orlando. If you’ll recall, UCF was within four points with 7:04 left before the Cougars finished the game on a 16-6 spurt. UCF missed 7 of their last 8 shots.
It can be done. Remember 2019 when then-#6 Houston hosted ESPN’s College GameDay in the midst of a 33-game home winning streak? That was the last time UCF beat the Cougs.
