As announced on Sunday evening’s selection show, the UCF Knights will be a 3-seed in the Tallahassee Regional of the 2023 NCAA Softball Championship, hosted by the No. 3 overall seed Florida State Seminoles. UCF will take on the South Carolina Gamecocks, who are the 2-seed in the regional, while the Marist Red Foxes round out the regional as the 4th seed against FSU.

UCF is making its 10th NCAA Tournament appearance which is the most by any UCF sport since 2005.
The Knights enter the tournament on a 13-game win streak, representing their longest of the season, and have won 20 of their last 21 games including winning the AAC Championship in Tampa.
