Originally from Pennsylvania, Wright is the Knights’ all-time leading scorer. He kicked from 2014-2018 and made 77.5% of his kicks, including an 85% clip in his senior year. He tried out for the Steelers in 2019 and got cut, but landed with the Tampa Bay Vipers of the XFL but got cut again. He was working his full-time job with Lockheed Martin when he finally got a call back from the Steelers after Chris Boswell got hurt.
Wright finished 2020 going a perfect 4-for-4, including a long of 46 yards against the Browns.
