The UCF Knights Volleyball team began its 2019 season with a key five-set victory over Big 12 opponent Iowa State in their first match of the Rebel Invitational at Ole Miss.

It was a back-and-forth match with UCF coming out on top in the fifth, 15-11.
Highlights for the Knights:
- Kristina Fisher: 24 kills, 14 digs
- McKenna Melville: 15 kills, 10 digs
- Dresi Pass: 17 assists
- Erin Olson: 14 assists
- Kathryn Wesolich: 3 aces, 5 block assists
Iowa State finished last year at #60 in the RPI, and are picked to finish 4th in the conference this season.
