Check out our video interview with UCF Knights head volleyball coach Todd Dagenais, as Eric and Jeff preview the Spring 2021 season with the Knights all-time winningest head coach.

Dagenais discusses the weirdness of coaching through COVID-19, his returning players, the schedule, the rest of the conference, and a wide range of other topics (unfortunatley we didn’t have time for any pro wrestling or Green Bay Packers talk).

UCF is aiming for their third consecutive conference crown and their fourth under Dagenais this season. The Knights also picked up their first NCAA Tournament victory since 2003 in the fall of 2019, defeating Florida State in Gainesville.

However, that was 13 12 months ago, thanks to COVID-19. After the cancellation of the regular fall season, this season will be a short one with only 16 matches - 11 of them at home.

The Knights open their season Tuesday at 4 p.m. against Florida Atlantic.
