Kay Kay Wright scored 28 points on 9/21 shooting, and Brittney Smith added another 12 points on 5/10 as the UCF Knights women’s basketball team outscored South Florida 22-12 in the fourth quarter to pull off a critical comeback win in Tampa.
Missed our #WarOnI4 win in Tampa yesterday?

Not to worry; we've got some highlights for ya! #ChargeOn pic.twitter.com/IJrv36ocaU
UCF out-rebounded the Bulls 44-32 (17-11 on the offensive glass), leading to a 17-9 edge in second-chance points, plus a 28-16 edge in the paint.
It was tight throughout, with eight ties and eight lead changes, but in the end, UCF came through thanks to a 6/6 clip from the line in the final minute.
The Knights have won the last three meetings with USF now, as well as three of the last four meetings in Tampa. And they are dominating the War on I-4 series this season, 30-6.
Not so fun fact of the day: @USFAthletics has lost the last 15 meetings in football, men’s basketball and women’s basketball to its #WarOnI4 rival @UCFKnights.

Can’t be acceptable, folks.
That is indeed a fun fact and perfectly acceptable.
